Microsoft, a sponsor of the Cyber X Games where male and female players alike come to compete, has written an intriguing article on female gamers. It primarily deals with the CXG tournament and I, myself, have learned a fact or two on these once "novelty" gamers.
Microsoft, a sponsor of the Cyber X Games where male and female players alike come to compete, has written an intriguing article on female gamers. It primarily deals with the CXG tournament and I, myself, have learned a fact or two on these once "novelty" gamers.
This year, Microsoft Windows XP joined as a title sponsor of the Cyber X Games to support competitive gaming on the Windows platform and increase female gamer opportunities at the championships. Women will take part in the regular gaming tournaments, and can also enter the first ever Windows XP Female Pro Gaming Quake 3 Competition and the Windows XP Female Counter-Strike Team Event.
It is great to see a recent trend of female players coming out, and showing that they are a legitimate group of gamers themselves. Although the article may seem a tad bit biased (it was written by Microsoft after all), the article remains a great read containing a wealth of details regardless. Check the article right now
