On 1st January, Counter-Hack's Demo Review Team began operation. They propose to provide leagues with an impartial method of checking post-match demos for signs of hacking.
We will ensure that if a cheater is caught by our DemTeam that he or she will be banned from the current league they are registered in as well as all other registered leagues. Half-Life_84|CH also tells us that they hope every single league cheater out there will be eventually caught without exception. This is a controversial and ambitious plan, and it remains to be seen how many leagues will take up Counter-Hack's offer. Nonetheless, if you're looking for a new way to prevent your team from being subject to "lucky shots" and "magical long range hearing with x-ray vision" then it's worth a look.
